Towles Field, Burton On Wolds, LE12 5TD
The playing field, with its sports pavilion, tennis courts, football pitches, children’s play areas, adult fitness equipment and car park is located on Towles Fields, Burton on the Wolds. There is public access to the field and play equipment 24/7.
Known officially as Burton on the Wolds Recreation Ground, the field is a charity, no 521399 and a Queen Elizabeth 2nd Field in Trust. The area and its facilities are managed by a committee of trustees known as the Playing Field Association (PFA).
The Parish Council organise and fund the routine maintenance for the field. Capital projects and additional maintenance is paid for from rents and fundraising efforts by the community. The PFA always needs volunteer help, for one off projects, fundraising and assisting in the management of the field.
The PFA manage two tennis courts that are available for play through annual subscription.
The pavilion and field is available for hire for events and meetings, when they are not being used by the clubs.

Burton on the Wolds Football Club
Burton Football Club have played Sunday morning adult football at Towles Field for over 12 years. The club plays in Division 4 of the Leicester and Charnwood Sunday Football League https://www.lcsfl.co.uk they train weekly (Wednesdays 8.00-9.00pm) during most of the year on the excellent rubber crumb pitch at Loughborough University

Loughborough Phoenix Football Club, children’s football
Loughborough Phoenix FC is a grassroots youth football club with three teams. It covers the age groups of under 8s under 12s and under 13s. It is affiliated to the Leicester and Rutland FA, with Charter Standard status. All of their coaches are fully DBS checked and hold FA Licences.
Loughborough Pheonix offers a safe, friendly environment for children to play and learn the beautiful game of football, training in the summer is on Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:30pm and home games are held in Burton on Sunday mornings.
